MONDAY | POL Planning: Challenge/Explore
Gathering: If you could change one thing about your habits this year so far that you think would have made you more successful, what would it be? POL Planning: Today you will reflect on a challenge you have had this year, as discussed in the POL. You can do this reflection on Slide 11 of your POL Planner. We will review the instructions together on slide 10. Once you are done, delete the instructions. Independent: Reflect on your challenge and goals moving forward (slide 11 of POL Planner). Ticket Out: Share your "plan to improve" with the group! TUESDAY | Grade Tracker & SMART Goal Setting OR Finish POL Planning Please start with a gathering and grade tracker. Next, choose if your students need more POL Planning time or should write SMART Goals. If you are writing SMART Goals, follow the ritualized Tuesday Agenda. WEDNESDAY | Advisory Time | 11:30 - 1:15 No Town Hall POL Planning & Conferencing Please set up half of today's time as POL preparation. Students should get their Thinking Routine chosen and credits entered into the PoL Planner. In addition, there is a CCR Reflection that students should fill out. I will be handing out transcripts and Volunteer Hour Reports to advisors to help with students CCR Reflections. I will send out more detailed CCR Reflection instructions Monday. My time recommendation would be:
THURSDAY | POL Planning: Wrap Up Start with a gathering, then use the rest of the day to have students practice OR finish their CCR Reflection if it is not yet completed. FRIDAY | Friday Ritual PoLs Monday and Tuesday! |
